DA Integrators is seeking candidates that will act as a first point of contact, to provide a range of services to all customers. Services include but are not limited to: process all initial requests for support/service (via phones, emails, walk-ins & faxes).

Required Security Clearance: Candidates must have at a minimum a current secret clearance with an investigation close-out date less than 6 years old to be considered. Candidates must be able to be cleared for additional special security accesses (SAP) and a top secret clearance to perform the work.

Job Description Duties:

  • Instruct Service Desk Agents on the use of JCL Overrides and Symbolics, and how to build the JCL Overrides and Symbolic overrides for the abended Production Batch jobs.
  • Serve as a Multi-Host Internet Access Portal Administrator assuming responsibility for unlocking user accounts, editing user account information, changing Community of Interest, adding additional groups, deleting groups from user profiles and troubleshooting, assist users with account builds and rebuilds and password updates.
  • Worked with Software Services and FSO team to stop erroneously generated ‘’ENDED NOTOK’ messages on STC’s/batch jobs that ‘ENDED OK’.
  • Train 1st shift Multi-Service, Service Desk Agents on setting-up and using Control-M
  • Enterprise Manager for monitoring the Multi-Service Mainframe Systems.
  • Review and Monitor the Change Requests, for all the local Service Desks, to be executed, for the current day, in DECC Mechanicsburg.
  • Train 1st shift Multi-Service Service Desk Agents on the set-up and use of IOConcepts
  • Monitoring Tool to monitor the various Multi-Service Mainframes.
  • Manipulate Batch cycles by starting/stopping CICS’s/DB’s to allow the cycles to run.
  • Cross-train current/new Service Desk Agents and Leads on Navy systems.
  • Continue to cross-train on the DFAS, DLA, Marines, Multi-Service Service Desks in support of the Global Service Desk Consolidation Project.
  • Recommended and designed a major batch cycle update, involving daily, monthly, quarterly production batch and daily dump cycles, across multiple tables, on the MXP system, for the MISIL application, to eliminate manual intervention.
  • Provide information technology support within a 24x7x365 large scale, real time environment operating multiple OS390 and Z/OS mainframes and mid-tier systems.
  • Generate ITSM/Remedy tickets and use Control M Scheduling Software to oversee batch jobs/cycles, detect abends, correct abends, restart abended production batch jobs and process schedules as necessary on both the Mainframes and Mid-Tier systems.
  • Recycle/Reset, Job Entry Subsystems lines, start/stop/purge JES initiators, start/stop VTAM applids, analyze system status and assist customers with password resets using RACF, ACF2 and Top Secret security packages.
  • Examine system/server performance using Managed Objects, Sitescope, Control-M GUI, RMF, SDSF, Netview and IOConcepts.
  • Utilize BMC-Mainview to monitor multiple systems/associated components and initiate systems programmer functions to perform monitoring/manipulation in the systems.
  • Utilize SDSF to view Batch jobs in the input/output ques, view batch jobs that are currently running on the system, and to manipulate SRVCLASS parameter to change dispatch priority.
